Hotel Villa Koegui Biarritz

Location on a small quiet street close to all you would need within two blocks: including at least four wonderful restaurants; two streets away from main square and 12 minutes walk to the lighthouse, about 6 minutes to beach, lots of independent stores nearby and carefour grocery is also 5 minutes away. Property: definitely refurbished recently so bed, bathroom are up to date, soundproofing windows. A lift to 2-4 floors and about 5 rooms per floor. Rooms are perfect for solo traveler and for couple if there is no need to work from room ( no desk in room). Staff: wonderful, helpful, passionate about guests comfort. Specifically would like to mention Rafael who could even manage make a reservation on our behalf at a place that supposedly does not take reservations. One minor suggestion: since second key activates electricity in rooms, make mini fridge independently connected to electricity. It does start cooling eventually, just takes time, so items in minibar ( soda, water) are warm on arrival because electricity is off prior to guest check in. Other that that- happy with the experience!

This is one of the best experiences with the hotels that I have stayed. The hotel is only a few minutes away from the beach, major tourist attractions, the restaurants and shopping area. The staff is exceptionally friendly and speaks excellent English, defying the stereotype of unfriendly French people. Plus they are all female! I was most blown away by its breakfast. There must be 15 different kinds of pastries, savory and sweet. Yum!! Apparently they were all freshly homemade by the staff who not only manage the front desk but were also apparently incredible cooks. I have never seen so many different kinds of pastries in one spread. I like modern decor in general so the hotel interior fits me well. The breakfast/common area has a charming garden. The room is extremely clean and well-maintained. I like that it is located among the residential area that you are not bothered by the noise and the crowd while being conveniently only a few steps away. It’s a nice little boutique place. I will defiantly go back if I visit Biarritz again.

Hotel in a great area so handy for walking around beautiful Biarritz

Very comfortable room with large bathroom and well appointed. Staff were all warm and friendly. Location was great for accessing the town centre.

Great location. Room was good size. Yes there is no door to the bathroom, but it’s big enough where when you’re in shower/bath you’re not “on display” if that bothers you. Staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful.
